This heavy duty Gore-Tex jacket features matte non-reflective olive drab polyester shell and 3-layer construction Gore-Tex lining. This hard shell is your first layer of defense against the elements. Two large exterior front pockets. One interior pocket with dividers for tools. Velcro wrist cuffs. Drawstring hood. Interior belt so you can hang the jacket on your waist when it gets too hot. Magnetic wrist pad for small steel parts. Velcro morale patches. And a front loop for hanging a flashlight or other chest mounted appliance. The pattern of this jacket is based on 1990s German Flecktarn uniform. This pattern uses the maximum amount of material to produce the minimum amount of seams. Yes, that means it’s expensive to make.
